The new leadership team for HFC met together in Chicago February 15-18th for the first time to build unity and cast vision. We had a great time together and found each leader has a strong passion for planting new churches among Hispanics both in the USA and in Latin America.
We focused on a unified strategy of building networks and providing resources to assist front line church planters. Each member of the team has planted churches and/or assisted others planting new churches in the past, and most on the team have worked with another team member over the last few years already. There is an incredible amount of experience in this team!
On the final day we looked at the existing projects we were each involved with and dared to dream a little about the future. We already have the groundwork laid for extensive work in Northern California, Chicago, Portland, Mexico and see new efforts beginning soon in Argentina and El Salvador. The team will meet again in May in Portland, Oregon for continued training and planning.
